Self-Esteem is an overall sense of achievement a child feels from the important people around him. Task basis activities could help children to build up a stronger self-esteem with a better judgment about their own worth.

Objective: Fine and gross motor skills training - flipping
Method: Encourage children to flip the pages of the book, as well as flaps inside the book, like the blanket, closet door and the toilet cover.
Objective: Fine motor skills training – crinkling and pressing
Method: Encourage children to crinkle and press different parts of the book to make crinkling and squeaking sounds.
Objective: Developing self awareness - self image
Method: Allow your child to observe himself in the mirror. This helps develop his self-esteem.

Method: Allow children to freely place Patrick in different settings, such as the bathtub, bed and swing.
Objective: Cognitive training - learning everyday objects
Method: Teach children the names of everyday objects.

Method: Place Patrick in different places, such as the bathtub, the bed and the swing. Teach your child about everyday life, habits and playtime by asking what Patrick is doing.

Method: Allow children to make up stories, using Patrick as the main character. They can tell stories about Patrick playing in the sand pit, taking a bath, getting dressed etc.
Objective: Self confidence - finger puppet
Method: The Patrick finger puppet can be used in role playing games to increase children’s self confidence.
